The starting point

A high-end pool builder in Anglet, in the French Basque Country, presents its business on a site built with Wix. On a phone, this site shows the layout designed for desktop (screenshot of 13 October 2026). It was my first client project: I proposed a redesign, as a pre-sales demo.

The proposal

A single page, designed for phones first: home, the company’s DNA, services, a catalogue, a gallery, guarantees and a quote request.
A catalogue of seven pool models, in a carousel you swipe with your finger.
A "serene luxury" direction: Cormorant Garamond for headings, Jost for text, the blues of water and white, with the client’s photos taken from their site.

What the before and after shows

The "before" screenshots come from the client’s live site, on 13 October 2026; the "after" screenshots come from the mock-up, as proposed in March 2026. The figures visible in the mock-up (Google rating and number of reviews, founding year) are those of March 2026; they are not re-checked here.

What this piece is, and is not

It is a pre-sales demo and my first client project: it is shown as it was, with its limits. It fits in a single HTML file, which loads Tailwind from a CDN and displays the photos from the client’s site; it is not a production site. The proposal was not taken up. No commercial result is claimed. The team portraits, the contact section and the footer of the mock-up are not shown.
