The problem
A Marseille grocery currently sells through a social network: the audience exists, but it does not belong to the shop. No lasting catalogue, no customer accounts, no loyalty, and two offers to serve: everyday goods delivered locally, and rare or imported products shipped nationwide.
The approach
Front end first, on sample data, to get the interface approved before wiring the rest. Five visual directions were tried; the last one, plain, light, close to the delivery apps customers already know, was kept. Three languages from the start, including right-to-left Arabic.
The solution
- Shop: home, catalogue, countries of origin, promotions, search, product pages and basket.
- A checkout with three handover modes: local delivery, hand-to-hand, shipping within France; card payment (Stripe, test mode) or pay-on-delivery; fees computed on the server.
- Age check for products that require it.
- Customer area: account, loyalty, orders (demo).
- No-code back office: products, categories, countries, copy and fees editable by the shop itself.
- Search visibility: structured data, linked language versions, sitemap, llms.txt file.
